It felt appropriate that as i had some new kit this week that I wanted to try out, to make a short pieces that looks at what photography means. James Metcalfe a photographer, writer and reporter in the 1970s, wrote these words and feel they are as relevant today as the were back in the 70s before Instagram and Facebook filled our news feeds with photograph after photograph. Photography, for me, is more than just capturing a image. It's a excuse to get out and explore, to travel and to find new things. Thanks to my old man for coming out with his Bronica, and putting his acting talents to good use.
My goal is to deliver the best creative imagery and video content possible. Based in the Highlands of Scotland photography, film and image making have been a large part of my life for the last 15 years. It gives me a reason to travel, a opportunity for adventure and way of cataloging life as it passes us by.
